no sorry we don't know what the issue is either. it is a gamble yes. But we have been doing this for years and have had very little complaints.

I get it. its not for everybody. By the amount that is being sold I would say most people are ok taking the risk and getting 60% off.

I just installed the "scratch and dent" King shocks I bought. I never could find a scratch or a dent on them anywhere, and there was no missing hardware. The shocks looked perfect to me, and I suspect they may have been put on a scratch and dent sale because the box had been opened and the shocks used for a display. But when it was time to put the shocks back in the box, the box was kind of beat up. There was a whole lot of tape holding the box together, and the box certainly wouldn't have passed QC, but the shocks themselves are perfect. And ride quality is phenomenal! Best shocks I've ever owned. I just wanted to say thanks for putting these shocks on sale.
