Mark showed me an order today as I was picking mine up that was placed on 8/20 and arrived at the dealership 8/27. 7 days from order to delivery! No one from the group buy, though.

I’ve been stuck in D1 for ~ 2 weeks. Mark still thinks 9/9 ship date. Ordered 8/12. Sold my 2010 JKU yesterday.

They are definitely LEDs. My phone just compensated for the whiteness.
Did you go over checklist at dealership? I printed one up that was posted on this forum so I wouldn’t forget. Tomorrow is THE day!

The halogen lights are just giant reflectors. The funky squared off design are LEDs.

2-3 weeks in D1 is about normal. Should hit paint any day now, then it will fly. Mine was delivered 7 days after it hit paint.

I knew all of the pertinent info: tool kit, cubby mats, take it for a ride (highway), manual, fuse check, aired down the tires. I had no issues. Mark does most of the checklist anyway. He'll hook up your phone, show you how the radio/nav works, fill the tank, do a walk around. You're in good hands. He really loves these Jeeps.

Something you should do whenever you buy a car - open the fuse box and press down on all of the fuses. Basically they either don’t push them in enough at the factory or they come loose in shipping. I bet they come loose before assembly - like they’re shipped in a box via fedex or whatever from the company that makes the fuse box, probably with the fuses already in it.

I think Mark pointed out the wrong Jeep to me. Looks like it was Robert's (@rfm8os ) silver Rubi. I just noticed that you got a Sahara, so I didn't actually see yours. Oh well, you'll see it tomorrow anyway. Try to count how many times Mark says "Definitely, definitely".
Yeah, I thought that looked like mine.

-goes on test drive-
-glove box opens-
-glove box falls off-

Wait screws? My JK doesn’t have screws! In fact I’ve never had a car where the glovebox screwed in. They usually have this funky hinge that clicks into place.

Hi everyone,
I just discovered this forum researching my new JL purchase. I'd be interested in joining that purchase group for CT. I'm based in Northern NJ. Let me know if its still happening and if there's any availability for another buyer to join in.
