I feel the same way about the chimes the Bronco makes. Sounds like a rental car.
People think I am crazy when I complain about that chime. Glad I am not the only one. It would be one thing to hear that when opening the door with the key in the vehicle, it is another that every function you trigger, sway bar disconnects, lockers, etc. all treat you with that horrible melody.

Noob question, but I'm heading to Uwharrie this weekend and wanted to get your thoughts on disconnecting the front sway bar. I have Teraflex 1.5" Spacer lift with everything suspension wise left stock with stock Rubicon wheels and tires.

I see in this post this guy has a Teraflex spacer lift, just wanted to get your thoughts on it. is it safe?

Absolutely disconnect it. You will be a lot safer on the trail with the increased suspension travel.

It is also way more comfortable of a ride.

Be aware that you'll need to find a perfectly flat spot to park in order to reconnect it. I always have horrible luck trying to do it that way. Instead I bring a bottle jack that I use to align the axle as needed to get the bolt back in.

Had some fun at Uwharrie this weekend. Lots of mud, which caused me an issue on the up-hill rocky part of Falls Dam. I've done it before without any issues, but with the mud...man. Practically ended-up sideways and banged up passenger side rock sliders quite a bit. Not gonna lie, I was definitely worried but got out of it with some friends spotting me.

I ended up riding Rocky mountain loop and had some fun on the backside of Daniel. I drove up to the main part of Dickey Bell, but ran out of time and had to leave. Not gonna lie, videos don't do it justice, but I'm excited to go back and give it a try. Was gonna do Dutch John, but figured it would be a mud slide...

I noticed some of the Infidel Jeepers and Fricking Jeep squad guys/gals out there.

I need a 4 door soft top or to borrow one just for a week.

Anyone have one in their garage I can use?
Nevermind. Found one... :)

This weekend is another busy weekend for Jeep work. Got a JLUR running 39’s getting gears, knuckles, jointed balls, RCV’s, rear Chromoly’s, tie rod, drag link, trektop, and front axle tube seals. Big job, but going to Badass. It’s pretty much the same thing @conFUcius had done a few months back.

You take a ride on the pain train at least once with every project.

Yes… here soon, I’ll be riding around IN Pain Train. I’ve decided on that name 100% now.

Yeah… it’s tough to get through big jobs without bleeding. There’s always something ready to destroy knuckles.

I put 4.88's in this one. His Jeep has the 2.0T in it, as well. It's a peppy set-up. That 2.0T doesn't have any issues pushing 39's with 4.88's. It's really fun to drive.

Can confirm it feels awesome with 4.88’s and 39’s. The 2.0T is a little beast and it was definitely ’drivable’ with stock 4.10’s but the 4.88’s made it peppy again. I would see 8th gear about 60% of the time on the highway before, now it’s in 8th about 99% of the time unless I’m pulling a steep hill. It also accelerates effortlessly now.

The steering is really tight now too. Shawn installed the steer smarts pro aluminum tie rod, drag link, Reid racing knuckles, and dynatrac HD ball joints. I used to have a slight dead spot in the middle of the steering but now it’s very responsive.
