That would be great to have other Jeeps come on a short road trip for wheeling somewhere out of the local area.
For sure, I'm probably looking at getting a truck and trailer next year. That gives me a little more comfort taking harder trails further away. Or a UTV as a scout vehicle.

Don't forget! December 3rd the Jeep Jamboree opens registration for the 2019 trips. The release "by the hour" schedule is going to be released soon. I'll keep an eye on it and post here that it's available. I've attached a pic of the trips I'll be registering for if people want to make a group run next year.

There is a plan for a couple of us to hit up Colorado (Ouray, Telluride, Lake City) around July. I'll end up leaving my JL in a storage unit out there and then retrieving it to continue to the Rubicon Jamboree a month or so later.

If any of you are interested in this, we can schedule a monthly dinner of some kind to talk about planning together. This would be a lot of fun and exactly the reason why I bought a Jeep. Once you see Colorado from the trails out in the Ouray area, you will view life differently; just gorgeous.

Thank you everyone.

Saturdays I'm usually free all day, Sunday Afternoons are also good for me, just depending on the time.

I would like to also join up. I just keep to get my jeep lifted before going.
Sounds great, man. It'd be great if you could join.

Your Jeep doesn't need a lift to do the trails at Uwharrie. There's only 2 trails you really shouldn't attempt, but even then, one of them has a bypass for people that don't want to attempt the obstacles.

Good afternoon,

Below is the hour by hour release times for the Jamboree events next year.

If you're going to want to do any of these, please be ready to register at the times posted because a lot of these sell out in a matter of minutes.

For example, Killington was sold out in 7 minutes last year.

If you have any questions, please contact:

Savannah Brewer
Director of Registration

It would be beyond awesome if we can get a caravan rolling from the East Coast to some of these. Here is the list I'm signing up for:

Snowbird, Tennessee Mountains,Killington, Ouray, Rubicon Trail, Uwharrie, and Moab.

You can find a copy of the 2018 Itineraries here: https://jeepjamboreeusa.com/forms/

This link will give you an idea of what to expect for each event and keep in mind that these are for 2018 and things could be different for 2019.

Thank you very much!

@Sangiuolo11

Got Guy’s lift installed. Rubicon suspension with a 2.5” rough country lift. It turned out really nice with 35x12.50’s.

Took his sport wheels and tires and threw them on the WK. didn’t need new tires, but ... why not. They fit great.

I may have missed it, but did you have any pics of the one you lifted?

I didn't post any pics of it when it was finished. The guy that owned the JL was going to post pics, so I didn't bother with taking any.

@Sangiuolo11 - Guy, can you throw some pics up on here of your sport with 35's? Thanks man.
