We are but just looking for a little one on one time with the Mrs. If you happen to see Fat Ninja and Mud Muffin on the trail please introduce yourself though!Anyone going to Uwharrie tomorrow 6/13/20? Was thinking of taking the new Jeep out at trying it out. Probably bringing the family along.
Was tossing around the idea but on Thursday the Jeep wouldn’t start. Was able to jump it today and now it is sitting at the dealer.Anyone going to Uwharrie tomorrow 6/13/20? Was thinking of taking the new Jeep out at trying it out. Probably bringing the family along.
No, but thanks for the suggestion. I ended up holding it up while the wife got the bolts started.Do you have a floor jack that can help you? I’m not anywhere near you so thought this might help.
I have had the Jeep since 8/2019 and it always stays garaged. Not a daily driver but gets driven relatively frequently.I fix cars for a living for GM. Batteries have been dropping like flies lately from the heat. Ive read a little that people are having issues with the Autostop/start setup in the jeeps. I will need to look more closely at it, It sounds similar to the setup GM uses on some of their cars. GM went away from it and went to a capacitor setup to replace the "motorcycle" battery.
I heard there was some kind of big event tomorrow.Anyone going out tomorrow to uwharrie. We are planning on it.
Another friend just told me about it. We are definitely going to make a trip out tomorrowI heard there was some kind of big event tomorrow.
Where is this jeep trail?Just wondering if there are ever rallies around eastern NC. Really enjoying the jeep and the beach!

Very cool Willys! My wife's grand dad had one that he had restored, and a guy in Elkin owns it now. Wish I could get it back! I'm over in Lewisville btw.Checking in from Walkertown area of NC (Winston Salem/Kernersville) with the new Sport S, just got it at local used car lot, had them put on Rubicon springs / shocks, 33x12.5x20 BFG KM3s and wheels. Because of the timing of all this the wife named her RONA, and next to it is my 88 K5 Blazer, "Red Rover".
I will try to put in a second picture of the OG 46 Willys CJ2a, my dad restored it and I inherited last year. I was counting up and the Willys and RONA are my 6th and 7th Jeep "wranglers" that I have owned!
Mike...........It is Cape Lookout National Seashore. The map will also call it South Core Banks. You have to take a ferry over to the banks. We took the ferry out of Davis. There are a few others.
