Checking in from Walkertown area of NC (Winston Salem/Kernersville) with the new Sport S, just got it at local used car lot, had them put on Rubicon springs / shocks, 33x12.5x20 BFG KM3s and wheels. Because of the timing of all this the wife named her RONA, and next to it is my 88 K5 Blazer, "Red Rover".

I will try to put in a second picture of the OG 46 Willys CJ2a, my dad restored it and I inherited last year. I was counting up and the Willys and RONA are my 6th and 7th Jeep "wranglers" that I have owned!

Welcome @JeepN3RD. I worked in Walkertown for years (Rite Aid and Walkertown Family Pharmacy) and live in Kernersville.

Love the Willys. Doesn’t get much cooler than that.

It's me and ConqSoft tomorrow. There will be plenty of runs to Uwharrie. Look forward to meeting you at some point.
How'd it go today? I ended up out there but not until later. Hopefully next time we can meet up.

Went well. Good day to wheel. Not too crowded. We ended up with a third who joined - not sure he's on the forum. Did all the easy and moderate trails. I could tell my wife was hot and close to miserable so we left around 2pm. ConqSoft got a small puncture in his KO2 which was easily plugged. Thumbs up to him to subjecting his immaculately clean two week old JLR to the dust fest that is called Uwharrie.

Looking forward to getting together with you and the others at some point soon. Hope your ride went well.

Cleaned? Pulled mine in the garage and there she sits - dust and all. Plan to clean the interior tomorrow. Will need to wait for some rain to clean the exterior unless I'm feeling overly enthusiastic and will then break out hose and sponge. But sting gray hides dirt well so time will tell. Good meeting you and looking forward to future trips.

You should see my interior. I was doorless. Pretty dusty out there today!

:surprised: If I did that, I think I’d just have to trade it in. :like:
It sure isn't the first time I've done it! I actually enjoy cleaning my interior. But it takes some work to clean dust off cloth seats.

Thanks, I definitely need to get to Uwharrie this year. My YJ is a 95, and I've just had a 4.6L Stroker put in late last year. Can't wait to get it out on the trails.

Any time you want to get it (or your JL) out there, let us know. I drove a YJ daily from 1994-2001. Loved it, though I am not sure I could make it my daily driver anymore. But I really want to get one as a second vehicle one day.

I have been seeing a lot of pics of people driving on the beach lately. I am taking my family on vacation next week and was planning on going to Myrtle. I know you cant drive on that one. Does anyone know of where I can find out which beaches in NC and SC you can drive on?
