Anyone planning some rides soon?
I'm definitely overdue for a ride but with all the fires and smoke going on, I've been on holding pattern — drove to Glacier Natl Park a couple weeks back, just to have the smoke get there 3h after I did  :crying:

Should we start planning something for the weekend of the 24/25th?

I'm new to the area and not working so have time to kill. Would love to get some rides in. My TJ is good for few of hours of driving, otherwise it's a tow setup. Have trailer, but need arrange a pickup rental.
JLUR I'm waiting on delivery, but will be kept stock setup for next 6 months until I decide how to build it out.

Keep in mind that it's hunting season in the sierras through the end of the month (or later in a few areas), wear some orange if you are hiking around. Also if you see a big buck up HWY 50, pm me!

Wish I would have been free. Last time I tried Strawberry Pass it was blocked part of the way up by a stuck Jeep(not a wrangler). Hope ya had a good time!

Good day on the trail. Last time we attempted was in June and we had to turn around just short of the summit and the great view. Glad we could make it all the way this time! Dragged the gladiator underside in a few spots, but man is that a good trail. Just enough challenge to keep it exciting and awesome scenery.

Has anyone run the Old Coast Road south of Monterey? Heading that way this weekend and was hoping to run it. Looks like some great views.

Ran the Old Coast Road. Very easy but scenic road that you could take a crossover through, but well worth the trip.

That's badass! Where does this start? I think my wife would love this
It is about 30 min south of Monterey on highway 1. Super easy 10 mile road. Could see it being very slippery if wet. I have a GPX file if interested or it is available to download off Funtreks.com.
