For my rear I didn't even use a jack. Just carefully tool out the bolts and slid them back in. For fine adjustments I pushed the tire fwd or bkw.

Skipped my mandatory morale day today and went and played around on Long Canyon trail today. Since it's an easy trail I didn't disconnect the sway bar, and forgot how quick things can get tippy :CWL: . Other than that hand to re-navigate just a bit for a fallen tree, and of course the obligatory drive on top of stuff because well Jeep! It was pretty awesome didn't see another person until the end and that was just forest service guys.

We're you disconnected on that flex shot. My guess is not.

Looks like a great trip.

Edit. You said no.

Nope it's a pretty easy trail so I was lazy and didn't worry about disconnecting. Somehow I forgot how strong the urge to drive over stuff that you can clearly go around is!

Nice photos - looks like a cool spot.

Also great tire choice. :like: Really wish Goodyear would make Duratracs in a 37" for a 17" rim. Had them in 35" on my JK and loved them.

I tend to forget how strong that urge is as well. That's why I love the antirock on my TJ. The push button on the rubicon is nice though.

hey, Cheryna,

what solution did you choose for Rear-View Mirrors?
All I had was the main rear view (above the stereo) and physically turning to the left or right side depending on which lane I was changing to. I also ride a motorcycle so I'm used to being very aware of vehicles to either side of me when on the highway. I've already started looking into some after market side mirrors for the next no door days.

yeah, OK,... get 'em quick; the local Gendarmes use this as a simple excuse to give folks a 'talking to',...

frankly, even though i also ride bikes and motos, i'd want those mirrors on in traffic, even though the Cal MVC says we only have to have 2 (the Drivers door, and one other, either center or Passenger door doesn't matter).
there are a lot of good choices out there i've seen referenced on this forum; will be interested to see what you wind up with and how they work, so keep us posted!

in the meantime, as i always tell my friends on 2 wheels, Have Fun/Be Careful!
