Nice!! Where did ya end up going? I took the kids out to play in the snow a bit going up Bowman Lake Rd via Hwy 20 but it's already closed off for snowmobiles a little ways in. So we just hung out and shot their new BB guns a little ways off the road.

Anyone know of any rv campgrounds open in winter? Wife wants to go snow camping in the trailer but wants hook ups. Trailer is too low to take off road

We might go up to loon lake if you are interested in that direction
Right on. Thanks for the invite but we are gonna stay to the 80 side this trip. Gonna check out some new places and scout areas to park a truck and trailer for snow wheelin. Might see you out that way if our plans are a bust

Looking for a suggestion for an area to get out and explore this weekend.

My minimal go-to spots are all socked in hard (up 108, or Gold Lake area). Was thinking just 'go get lost in Mendocino NF' for lack of better ideas.

I'll take any ideas! Thanks!

Most of them are snowed over. Maybe head up 162 outta Oroville? A bunch of different fire roads off the main

Ended up driving around in Mendocino. Tried to get up to Mount Hull but couldn't brave the final stretch solo, so turned back and camped at Pillsbury for the night

Right on! I wouldn't mind going to check out Mendo, haven't spent any time there. We just got back from camping at river rest resort. Got rained on most of the time, but still found some snow and new trails to check out.

If you guys go up to Mendo, count me in. I just picked up a 2019 Sahara today. I'm carry over from the ADV riding world and finally got rid of my F-150. Looking forward to learning more and hopefully meeting some of you too.

I'm up in Santa Rosa. There's a TON of Wranglers in my neighborhood. I wonder if it's any of you.

Got out to Ida Clayton Road, Old Toll Road, Fish Rock Road, and some surrounding areas last weekend. Was a great time getting this thing in the dirt a bit. It handles so nicely. Looking like I might be going to Knoxville OHV this weekend if they have any camping space. Anyone else ever been there with their Jeep?

Good to see you're getting out and exploring! I haven't been to Knoxville, but I've heard some of the trails came be deceiving. They look like 4x4 trails but then get real narrow and could wash out. But other than that, I've heard good things. Alot of space to roam
