Any previous owners of non-XR package 392’s received your new XR? What is your impression? How does the 4.56 gearing affect daily driving? I’m debating about not ordering the XR package and putting the cash towards my own wheel/tire upgrades along with a rear bumper and tire carrier.

Jeepless at the moment.
You can really feel the gears. Mine is very tight. The steering is better. My original 392 felt like it was on casters.
On the highway, it no longer drops to 7th to maintain speed. My original 392 with my added 35s did all the time.

I haven't driven the original 392 but I can tell you gears make a huge difference from owning previous vehicles. The 392 is likely slightly under geared from the factory given people put larger tires on them, so the XR is absolutely the way to go unless you prefer to regear it yourself.

It is $4k though, but if you like stock looking wheels, these offer a better BS.
