I just bought some LED Fender lights to replace my Non-LED fender lights. I have not pulled my fender apart to double check yet, but The guy I bought them from said that I would need to get a different wiring harness to plug them into. I have searched Google and I can't find any info on the wire harness that I would need.

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this?

Thanks!

Are they aftermarket lights that are designed to replace the halogen fender lights as a whole assembly? Or did you somehow harvest the OEM LED lights from someone's fenders?

Sorry I should have clarified that.. they are OEM lights that someone took off of their Jeep to do the Artec Fender Chop.

I have a feeling you're going to have a hard time with that, he is correct that the wiring is completely different.

How much wiring is attached to the lights that you have? Do you have a picture?

The marker lights have a pig tail attached but the turn signals do not.

Oh wow that is really torn apart. The marker lights should be exactly the same as what you already have installed, but I have no more information on those turn/DRL's. Can't even tell by looking at it where to plug it in.

There is a hole on the back where the harness goes. It looks like the same opening where the bulbs go. On the LED lights instead of a socket where the harness attached to the lens housing there should be a connector..

I ordered the 68315806AB harnesses from the dealer. It turns out thpat part number goes to the non LED lights. The dealer and the guy I bought the lights from are trying to find The right part number for me. In their system the harness is part of the LED lamp assembly, so it could be a challenge.

I got a set of the same OEM takeoffs to replace my factory halogens. The guy I bought them from gave me both fenders as well with the pigtails attached. They do plug directly in to where your halogens do. However, you’ll have to get your software flashed or get a tazer. If you don’t have the factory LED package, it will screw up both front and rear blinkers. I had the dealer flash. It cost about $150 at the dealer I went to.

Here is a shot of the back of my LED take offs that I have sold. The harness has a 5 wire plug that mounts to the area where a halogen bulb would be. Sorry but I dont have a part number for the wire harness.

No, not yet. I am in the process of trying to find the right molex connectors to make my own wiring harness. I will let you know if I am able to get it sorted out.
