Just wondering if this device can be used to trickle charge the battery(s) on our JL.

Some of the reviews on Amazon (considering they're genuine) seem to indicate so, but with some installation.

There's one from an apparent TJ owner.

Found this wiring drawing of the connector here on this forum. Seems to be OK as trickle charger is working.

Wait, I don’t understand.....this could be something it really want.....

does this product connect a NOCO standard “jump pack” to a JL battery to allow the jump pack to function as a “trickle charger” for the battery?

(As you can see, I have limited skills here).... is that what I am seeing?

DKretden, I am using the NOCO OBD II adapter along with a NOCO trickle charger to maintain my battery.

Thanks for this. Unfortunately, I live in an urban high-rise apartment and have no access to a plug for the charger and don’t drive a whole lot. I was hoping that this cable would allow my NOCO jump pack to “trickle” all of its juice into the battery over a week or so and then I would just bring the NOCO inside, charge it, and trickle again as needed......

oh well.

Have you thought about using a NOCO solar panel? It is available on Amazon

Yes, but the high-rise where I live only has indoor parking.

no plug to tap into + only indoor parking = I need to drive my Jeep more to keep battery charged!
