want to start a thread where people post their 2 doors with the rear seat removed ?

I took my rear seat out as soon as it got home and lately Ive been debating removing the hooks the rear seat attaches to and putting a rubber mat down for the whole area or cutting some plywood to make the whole area flat, as to improve cargo capability. Just seeing what others have done.

Extra points for removing the rear seat belts!

Pro tip for anyone attempting this, the bolts are installed with a locking compound and easiest to remove if you first use an induction heater on them... otherwise you risk stripping the stupid torx head. Don't ask me how I know!

Actually, I just have them wrapped inside the roll bar covers. 😉

I didn't want to go through the trouble of removing them, just in case, so I just hid them as best as possible.

I've been eyeing up rollbar covers. What do you have and how do you like them?

Don’t have a photo of mine handy, but this is what I did. Photo is from the WeatherTech site.
I used the WeatherTech cargo mat also. My old '19 JLR had the Alpine sub-woofer so I cut that out. I place a black speaker type cloth between the mat and the sub-woofer grill to keep it from getting scratched up and to keep debris from falling into the sub. It looks factory and zero debris in the sub after 2.5 years.

I left the sub cut-out intact, even though I have the factory sub. Doesn't seem to affect sound at all, and provides more protection.

I tried it both ways. Without cutting and cut out. I think it sounds better cut out. Dumb design though.

This is what I did too. Definitely thought it sounded better with sub cut-out.
