Hi,
Brand new here. Just purchased my first Wrangler today - 2018 JK Sahara Unlimited. I cannot figure out how to pair or connect my phone for calls and/or Bluetooth for audio. When I hit the voice button or the phone icon button, it says “no UConnect phone available”.
am I out of luck completely?

Hey, fellow RI’er here! ? Congrats on the new Jeep!

Regarding connectivity, do you have iPhone or android? I have iPhone - make sure Bluetooth functionality is enabled on the phone, and try using cord to connect through USB. Both work for me.

Thanks! Hey, RI’er! I have iPhone. I tried plugging in the phone to the USB but no dice. Nothing appeared on my phone under settings -> Bluetooth -> other devices. I have a feeling this car doesn’t have the capability but it’s weird because it’s a 2018 and I thought it’d be standard. These attached pics are what I get when I press the voice and phone buttons.

Weird, yeah…. That is a different/slightly older radio version than what I’m working with (I have the 7 inch UConnect on a 2021 Freedom edition). Regardless, you should at least be able to Bluetooth connect for audio phone conversation purposes. Pretty much any FCA vehicle made after 2016 should have that, and it looks like yours should. Have you tried a YouTube search on this one?
