I'm only telling you what they told me. All I know after hearing that I wouldn't want to find out the hard way. That would suck.
I just confirmed he got his tranny replaced under warranty after he regeared the jeep himself.

?‍♂ No idea. I just know I don't feel like taking the chance while under warranty doing lockers. Especially not with the dealerships by me.

For as much as the 392 is, I think it should have came standard with the XR package.
That's how I feel about all Jeeps with power windows/locks and LED headlights. Especially the Rubicon. How the hell does that not come with LED headlights standard?

I actually think all Rubicons should come standard with 35 inch tires

I know not all dealers are bad, however for a question like that I would ask for it in email, just so you have a record of the conversation. My hunch is they would not say in writing that adding lockers will void your powertrain warranty...

My dealership mentioned that as long as the work is done by an ASE certified mechanic it "shouldn't" affect the warranty. My solution... anything "big" like lockers I'll just have them install, since I trust them to do good work. Been taking my Chryslers to them for years (Durango RT, RAM 1500, JK, and now JLURXR).
@JeepViking13 I agree with getting something in writing if possible. See if it makes a difference who installs it.

Does that mean that the order banks are back open for XRs?

Not sure. Seems like maybe the actual shut down of XR orders is a slow build up? Dealer said mine and one last Saturday he ordered both went through to D. Last Friday was supposedly when jeep said they would shut down XR orders

No, my original order was rejected, I asked again today and was told it was “highly unlikely“ so I’m not sure what to do at this point. Maybe I’ll try your dealer.
Have you tried any on the spreadsheet in my sig?

Followed by a crapload of whining about how much the base model has increased in cost?

You don't think that LEDs and Power locks/Windows should be standard?

I personally do, but there are people that will scream about the increase in base price, especially when comparing year-to-year prices. Lots of "back in my day" comparisons with every price hike.

There are also lots of minimalists here.
