No more 2.0/8 speed?

I tried to submit a build order for a Rubicon with the 2L and auto tranny last week and the dealer said it wasn't able to go through.

Did I miss something?

Also, the price configuration on the Jeep website shows the price of the 2L as -$1000, and it still increased the price +$1000.

If that's the case - no Jeep for me! That's the whole reason I wanted one - a direct injected little turbo. I'll go with a Bronco.

On Jeep's website it looks like they're only taking orders for 4XE at the moment. I'm sure the 2.0L will be back when they open 2022 orders.

The 2.0 is still avail on the 2 door rubi. And the price changed from -1000 to -500

Website has been a little/a lot wonky here lately. If you select Wrangler from the "Vehicles" dropdown, it automatically takes you to the 4xe Build/Search page. From that page, if you click the right arrow on the main picture at the top of the page, it takes you to Build/Search option for a regular Wrangler.

We just picked up our 2.0 JLUR last week and the dealer told us "good timing, that was the last of them". I guess you can only get a Rubicon in 4XE now. When I asked if it was a permanent change they said they didn't know one way or another yet.

This was at Peterson CJDR in Nampa; one of the highest volume Jeep dealers in the country.

It may be limited based on options besides the engine.

We are at the end of 2021 production. 2022 models should have all the options again.

Nothing nefarious or foreboding - the 2021 order banks will likely close soon as the rumored date for the 2022 order banks to open is the first week of October, with builds starting in early December.

Wait ~a month and you should have full access to all the options again. 2022 factory orders will likely start delivering in late January, if I had to guess.

My X5 is a diesel. I love it for its performance and fuel mileage. I hate it for all of its useless computers.
