I love In-n-out. There's one just down the street from my house and if the wind hits right I can get the smell of french fries when I'm sitting in my backyard. It's the best.

But moving back onto the trip..........

DAY 8: Hidden Falls Adventure Park

Today I met up with @cornercanyon , @R4NS0M and @Rotsam to run the trails at Hidden Falls Adventure Park. It was such a fun day with some really awesome people. The park reminded me a bit of Cleghorn (for you Socal people following along). There's an outer main trail with obstacles you can take or bypass.

@Rotsam just got his new Jeep yesterday in the color I always wanted:

Although it certain light ours did look pretty similar in color.

And the big moment on the "Downhill O' Regrets". I tried to put it in 1st gear 4 lo and let it slowly crawl down but no dice. Jeep started gaining speed and when I slowed it down with the brakes it stalled out.

Then the brakes stopped working so I couldn't get the Jeep started again. I thought I was going to just roll on down the hill and off the mountain. I was finally able to get it started with the help of my e-brake. When I finally got to the bottom I looked up and don't know what I was thinking. I always say I'm going to take things easy and before I know it I'm driving down 3 foot ledges. 😂

I think it was after this that I developed a weird clunky/clicking sound somewhere on the drivers side. We checked it out but couldn't find the source so I just fixed it by turning up my music thus eliminating the noise.

Here is the Jeep after the run. I got some mud to cover the mud that was already on there.

I will say the Coopers did an amazing job. They crawled right up some things that I think my KO2s would have struggled with. I can't believe I already have 5000 miles on these tires. Tomorrow I'm going to get them rotated at a local Discount Tire since I still have 1500 miles to go to get back home.

I'll be running Northwest OHV in Bridgeport on Sunday before making the 3 day drive back to LA.
Nice write up. I like wheeling there.

You maybe an all time Google reviewer, but your infatuation with In n Out has me on the OUTS with your reviews. 😎
Few years back we were in the Phoenix area visiting family and friends. Stopped at one of those places, and we'll probably never go back. After all the hype, very disappointing. Wendy's, Carl Jr's, or Burgerville are all better.

Hold up, infatuation I do not have with In&Out. Just saying if it’s fast food,…. Whatabuger and In&Out is better than McDonalds or the other chains.
Your not setting a real high bar with McDs.
I was just messing with you about the infatuation of In N Out. I've seen your pictures of meal times on your camping adventures.

Everyone who got my Beastie Boys reference gets a gold star.

I'd love to check out the Bonneville Salt Flats. I think I'll combine it with a Grand Basin NP trip.
My first thought when I saw the tread was, but did you get any sleep?

I don't understand all the hype with In n Out. Yes, better than McDs, but that is a low bar. So many better fast food burgers around the country. Freddy's, Shake Shack, Steak n Shake, Five Guys, to name a few. I'd put Culvers above In n Out. I've never had Whataburger. My favorite local chain burger in Minneapolis is MyBurger. My all time favorite fast food burger joint, the Beastie Boys said it best... "But I'm fly at Fatburger when I'm way out west". Fatburger is a great burger.

I do like the free hot chocolate (for the kids) at In n Out when it's raining. My daughter and I were in Salt Lake City touring a college a few years ago in July. It's probably 100 degrees outside. A cloud rolls over and it pours down rain for about 45 seconds. All the kids run up to the counter to get their free hot chocolate. It was kinda funny.

Great write up and pics. Glad you're liking the STT Pros. Sounds like you need to spring for the Rubi TCase.

Am I the only one that thinks Wendy’s fries are the best? Does anyone else even eat Wendy’s?
I’ve never eaten a burger from there, only chicken, and I like their chicken sandwiches.
I’d say chik-fil-a has slightly better quality chicken but they also have minimal toppings so I still prefer Wendy’s.

for breakfast I haven’t tried many chains, but I don’t think anybody could beat a sausage McMuffin with egg anyways.

Hands down I cook a better burger at home, so to me ordering a burger is just for convenience.

Texas Roadhouse was founded in Indiana so knowing there is nothing actually "Texas" about it means I avoid it. Also we have one in my town and I have "family" that loves going there that I don't want to deal with so I avoid it like the plague.
The one good thing about TR are those apple cinnamon butter rolls. I can’t stop eating those whenever I go…. 🤷‍♂️

Best spicy chicken sandwich = Popeyes.
