I used to do that all the time with my JK. Glad to know that these stay put without the round knobs I always had to screw in on the JK pieces.

They connect to the bar, not the rear section of the top.

I was looking for a new truck when I quit my last job and had to give up the company car. Kept going back and forth from Chevy to Toyota until I saw the press pictures of a granite Sahara with doors and top off. I was in at that moment. I think it looks tough as hell.

Ya they attach to the sound bar in the rear, together in the middle front and to the header bar with a latch and a pin. To lose one you’d have to pull the latch down and allow the top to lift the pin out of the bar. It’s not an ideal situation but better than burning ur noggin til the safaris hit the market.

And...what's up with your exhaust pipe? Why is your's flat and wide and everyone else's round? I know that sounds like a personal question...and I'm sure there are more comments there too but... :cwl: Is that something you added on? Just curious.

So I came out of the hotel this morning to find both my freedom tops had been messed with. The pass side was completely released and sitting up at an angle, the drivers side was 50% unhooked. Frigin ignorant people. Oh well at least they didn’t steal or smash them on the ground. I’ve since removed them and locked them in the trunk.

Makes you wish you could hook up electric cattle fence to your stuff to teach people a lesson. But NO! People are all like... "I crapped my pants!", "Grandpa died!", and "You're going to jail!"

Well this afternoon made up for this mornings find!!!’

Gotta love driving vacations where your out of your normal area and hit cl to see if there are any deals. Found a wholesaler that was BLOWING out jeep bumpers, doors for $100 each! They were returns that were “damaged” (scratched) in shipping and returned. So I bought a full width jk front winch bumper, a full width rear, and a set of 4 jk unlimited hard doors for $300 cash!!

Lol now my hotel looks like an auto parts store and I still need to get this stuff packed with all our luggage and hauled to Vegas for 2 days then onto home in Sacramento.

The front bumper will work as is, I’ll rework the ends and the mounts on the rear and I’ll mod the doors to work. Good thing my gf is awesome and loves me!
