No Backup Camera display on the 8.4 this afternoon. ?

I was having the issue with green lines on the screen or a solid blue screen. Took it to the dealer late January to get the TSB done to add the off road Pages and the backup camera issue. They did the TSB adding the ORP and said the same update would fix the backup camera also. That was two months ago and no issues with the backup camera since.

Thanks - when I go in for the next oil change I'll request the same, however I don't know if I qualify for the ORP since my JL is a sahara. Anyway good info.

Hey Gremluc,
All 8.4" screens should have the offroad pages. It is one of the features of that system.

I’ve been experiencing intermittent loss of touch-screen control, which could only be reset by restarting the vehicle. Tonight I experienced the rear camera turning on and not shutting off, and it won’t reset by restarting the car. Turning the car off produces the ‘blue screen’. @JeepCares

I got the black screen. Next day it worked fine. Has ever since.

I am having the same issue today, camera went dead. Turned car off, drove for a while, let car sit a few hours, tried to do a soft reset as seen in another post- still no resolution. Any further thoughts or remedies on how to fix, or do I need to go to the dealer?

You tried the fuse 97 ?

Go to the dealer. Mine did the same thing and after doing an update it continued. The radio has been replaced once now, after one day it started rebooting so now I'm waiting on my 2nd radio. Frustrating but it's on their dime.

I've had it happen twice on me already. Only had the Jeep for like 2 months. Makes me all warm and trusting.....
Let it be and it should be ok for you in the morning. If you park in a garage, leave it outside for a few hours. Sometimes I think it downloads updates and they're screwed up and a new download or fix takes care of it.

No, haven't done that, but worth a check. However, I doubt its a fuse, everything else works and car is less than 400 miles old..... this seems to be an issue many others have had and not fuse related. Thank you for your input, much appreciated.
