Nitto Tires 315/70/17

Having a hard time with this. Can I fit these tires on JL Sport with factory rims without wheel spacer. I do plan on get 2.5 spacer lift. I’m hearing yes and no. Wasn’t sure if that size tire would clear. Rims are 17 7.5

What wheel are they going on? Back Spacing and Offset need to be correct but you can run that size on a stock sport and not rub while street driving.

The stock black rim that come with the JL sport. That tire is a little wider than the 35s. 12.75 inches

The installer said I might need 1.75 rims spacer. Not looking to do any off roading.

You will need a spacer to run those tires on the JL Sport wheels

Have you looked at 285/75-17 tires? same diameter as 305/70-17, but narrower and fits on the 7.5" wide rim without issue. (most 305 wide tires list 8" as the minimum width rim).

Yes that size will fit. After you install the rc lift you may end up deciding to add spacers as well.

Have you fit them? I'm also thinking about 315/70r17 on my stock sport wheels since they come in C range
