My wife is on the fence between these two tires in a 35" size. Any thoughts between the Nitto Ridge Grappler vs. the BF Goodrich KM3?

I’ve heard the Ridge isn’t great in mud.

I’d get the mudder Focker.

BFGoodrich Tires KM3 for Off Roading.

Nitto Tires Ridge Grappler for Off Road "LOOK" with minor Off Roading. This is the most aggressive sidewall you can find on a mixed terrain.

I agree with the last post, if you want a rugged look but plan on mostly on-road driving then go with Nitto, if you are wanting an amazing mud tire with the latest technology for grabbing terrain then KM3. It's obvious which way I went ;)

Will this help her decide? Just had 35x12.5x17 BFG KM3’s installed this morning on Fifteen52 dark bronze Turbomac HD’s. Thanks Mike @WheelsASAP.com!

How do you like them so far? What did you have prior to those?

I like them a lot so far with just a slight increase in tire noise over the stock BFG KO2’s. The installer had then set at 42psi and I brought them down to 32psi to get her home. Going to do the chalk test today to determine the best psi for my set up.

Is this YOUR vehicle or HERS? Our Jeep is my wife's daily. We had KM2's and the first 500 miles were awesome. After that.......it was so bad that she told me to do the wheel / tire upgrade right away so she could get her senses back. Will the KM3's be as loud as a KM2? Not likely as loud, but it is a mud terrain tire and it's not gonna be quiet.

If this is for her vehicle, she really needs to take a ride in a vehicle with both tire setups.

I can say that I went from 255 KM2 to 35 KM3 in one day and my Jaw dropped. I have had Toyo Open Country, Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ, KM2 and the KM3 are no comparison. They are using a brand new compound with a specific task, needless to say they NAILED it.
