Proud of those. $571 each. I think I will go the 39" BFGs for $400 each.

This is what I am thinking. $550+ is just nuts for 1" and I am far from cheap

That's awesome looking. I ended up staying with the 37's. It was $150 difference per tire on price. I can wait a few years for that money.

HAHA Great looking tires for sure. I just noticed your spare is mounted to the tailgate. No support?

Sam
Looks to me like he has a terra flex tire carrier on there...something like it

Correct. I know it is not a stock carrier. It is just interesting to see a 38.5 on the tailgate, irregardless the support. I thought 37" was about as big as I would want to go hung on the tailgate. I have been hesitant to put my 40" spare on the tailgate (it has the support+Terra Flex mount). I know on my JK with the 42"s I have the LOD rear bumper with tire carrier. Curious how stale his will be.

Holy hell those are huge tires. I think bigger than I wanted to go but cool nonetheless.

I know my Motobilt tire carrier which is a similar tailgate carrier can take 40s with the Motobilt rear bumper. It has height adjust

That much weight I just don't like hanging on the tailgate. Lot of weight on hinges no matter how well reinforced.
