My last two vehicles were Nissan. A 2001 Sentra SE and a 2008 Xterra OR. I don't see better quality in the Nissan than I do with my 2018 JLUS.

My Nissan Xterra, I had to proactively replace the radiator as there were disturbing issues of coolant leaking into the transmission. Ironically, the transmission went out at 109K miles anyway. A few days later I got a new Jeep.

I previously owned nissan pathfinders since their introduction in the seventies, I never had an issue or problem they didn’t step and and fix. They have their version of the death wobble affectionately known as the Jutter. Same issue and it’s been a major problem for some of their CVT transmissions. I don’t know if they ever solved it since I switched to a honda CRV which had its share of built in problems.
I’m just concerned with all the switching where the poor end users wind up. Not a fan of big corporate change.
