The previous post I was referring too did have the tread pattern, I'll dig around and see if I can find it. IIRC it was significantly more aggressive than other current ATs available.

Similar, looks like the MTs have a bit more spacing on the outer lugs and more aggressive sidewalls.

As far as Goodyear taking ownership over Cooper, Mickey Thompson, Dick Cepek. I'm not concerned about any quality downturn w/ any of those tires. I think what we'll see is less tire models per company, eliminating ones that aren't good sellers. I've got a feeling Dick Cepek may go away since their lineup has been shrinking the last few years. Mickey Thompson & Cooper have kept their lineup strong and their popularity seems to be on the uptick.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out, I don't automatically see it as a bad thing. I'm sure they have plans to do some consolidation and that could hurt areas that have older plants or limited resources. Hopefully any issues will be minor and consumers and employees of the tire companies won't see much of a change.

So how does Kelly fit in the lineup now? That has been GY’s second tier tire for decades. Maybe GY will manage Cooper in a similar way that Michelin manages BF Goodrich. I guess we’ll see.

I've got a feeling Goodyear, Cooper & Mickey Thompson will be the brands they put their advertising and research budgets into. Probably see several of those fringe brands fade away in the next year or two.

Just went to 4wp didn't see them at 25% off? I'm really hoping the new Baja A/T hybrids are as good as the sound. I'm on the fence of moving away from a true M/T but I don't want a full A/T and these might just be the ticket.

Couldn't pass those up, as much as I wanted to wait for their newest AT, the ATZ P3 is still one of the best ATs and at that price it was a no-brainer!

Yeah, that weight jump from 35s is about 20 lbs

Sweet, mine came out to $1k to my door, no install though. Got them today, and must say they are badass, deep tread and nice aggressive look, and one of the top rated ATs on the planet! Bad news, I have to run my Milestars another 5k miles before I can mount these up But the wait will be so worth it!
