Hey there! Planning to go to Hidden Falls October 8-10. Stock JLU; easy/moderate trails only. I've been to Bridgeport (pre-BOH), but not "experienced" by any stretch. Interested in meeting up with someone willing to let a newbie tag along.

Dang how do you plan that far in advance? ;) I just today figured out I wanted to go somewhere this weekend.

yes, back in October; good times. First "real" off-roading, so took it slow, staying on the easier trails. Helped me practice and prepare for our trip to Big Bend in November (a great trip as well). Stayed in Marble Falls; definitely eat at the BlueBonnet Cafe for some good down-home cooking.

ok, you've inspired me. I head out to Marble Falls all the time, and I've been to Hidden Falls in my old Jeep, but not in my new one. I also really want to do the Big Bend thing.

I would highly look into Big Bend Ranch State Park. It's a State owned park, and much more rugged that the National Park. My favorite place to wheel and camp in Texas.

Plus, that drive from Terlingua to Presidio is fantastic, with stunning scenery
