There seems to be a new wheel option.
I have only found it on 2 door Sport S. Its not searchable on the inventory search nor can you pick it as an option on the build web site.
Its called out as 17" x 7.5" Machined / Painted Black Wheels

Not a bad looking wheel to me and seems to also come with the AT tires.
I would have paid the $295 for it over the stock ones w/minivan tires in a heart beat.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Someone else posted this setup a couple months ago, and yeah a huge upgrade vs. the silver Sport S wheels and soccer mom tires for sure!

Kinda-sorta-related question: how do you differentiate between a Sport and a Sport S? When mine still had decals, it said Sport, but it seems slightly better optioned.

It is a great looking wheel!

Those come standard on Wrangler Rubicon 4Xe, and look somewhat similar to the optional wheel on Gladiator Rubicon.

It’s much better looking than the stock Wrangler Rubicon wheel IMO.

The dealer probably did that. That’s the same rim that came on the rubicon recons. The dealer added those rims on after the jeep was built.

Those wheels are used in Rubicon 4xe, and Rubicon Recon, and now Sport. The difference is the little jeep icon on the edge of the rim.

Nope, shows on the sticker for that Jeep as a factory option and in the factory rendering of it.
There are a few others on lots with the same rims too.

At least on my 2018, these were the Sport S upgrades over a standard Sport:

17-inch aluminum Tech Silver Metallic wheels — Leather-wrapped steering wheel — Air conditioning — Power windows/locks with keyless entry — Power heated mirrors — Automatic headlamps — Deep-tint windows, rear and quarter

I didn't know this was news. My 4-door Sport S came with these when I bought it last summer.

There's a set of 5 currently sitting in my side yard if anyone's dying to get them :CWL:

I guess they have been out for a while.
I had never seen them before and still think they are a nice (and affordable) factory upgrade over the stock sliver or the $995 optional granite ones I have seen.

Agreed, they are a nice looking wheel and I miss the little red Willys on them so much I'm working on a vinyl version to stick on my aftermarket wheels.

Cool, I have the 'S' then. I'm not a poor as I thought - go figure. Now I guess I'll have to grab some Grey Poupon for the glove compartment.
