New VW buggy concept design looks a lot like the Renegade concept

I saw a link to the VW I.D. Buggy concept and the first thought I had was that it looked so much like the Renegade concept from 10 years ago that it was almost scary.

vw will mess this up and make it a hybrid or e vehicle that no one will buy!

Yeah but look at the difference in ground clearance. I know they are both just concepts, but Jeep would make something really functional and VW's would just look like a buggy.
