Hi all.
Been lurking on here for a few months. I’ve finally pushed the button and picked up a Wrangler Rubicon unlimited 2.0 petrol in black this morning.
Love it!
No green laning JUST yet. I’ve already washed it down after a days driving around. But soon enough!

Nice Jeep !! Still a rare site in the UK but that in itself makes them all the more special

Welcome to the forum, lived in Europe for many years and was in England about every 3 or 4 months. You will have a lot of fun on the forum and some pretty tech savy individules as well as the usual.

do all UK JLs come with the hood lock from the factory? haven't seen one without it.

what is green laning? having driven in the UK a few times, i've never heard that term.

I believe so yes. Green lanes are documented roads that are impassable by normal cars. There are lots here in UK.

Log book arrived today (V5C) however on inside first page near top section “D2 Type” it reads “JK”.
Is this a mistake and that it should read “JL”?
Can any other JL owners confirm what’s on their V5C doc.

thanks in advance

You're bound to have fun on the Greenlanes. @Rudolph Hart has plenty of experience doing that. Welcome to the Jeep family!

Same on mine. Thanks for checking.
No need to contact DVLA then.

Has anyone signed up to jeep owners group?
What is it?
I signed up 2 weeks or so ago but didn’t get any confirmation email or anything. As yet not even sure what it is?

Its on a road that leads to some quarries. I guess the requirement is for the trucks hauling the quarry stone to have a sheet or tarpaulin over the top of the load area to stop any dust or stone falling across the road or countryside.
