Hey all, I always wanted a Wrangler growing up, but went other directions with cars (My only 4WD is Italian, and not made for going off-road, lol). Started looking around a few weeks ago, saw the new one, and ordered. White JLUR, fully loaded, and can’t wait to start modding and adventuring off the tarmac. Cheers!

Welcome, trust me the fun never stops with a Jeep. I owned and moded a lot of cars/trucks and nothing comes close to a Jeep. It must be that “Jeep thing”.

Wife has a T-Reg Exec...very comfortable. Now time for me to trade my M3 for something less comfortable.

It's going to be fun since it's so damned inexpensive.

I recommend few things to help,

1. Make a plan what you want to do with the Jeep (rock, overland, weekend warier)
2. Decide final look of the Jeep ( tire size, bumpers, extra items, this will decide the lift and spring tension) get inspired by looking over build post on the web.
3. Get items when you got extra cash and start building
5. Small of the cheap mods are some of the most fun to do
6. And most importantly this is your Jeep make it the way you want it.

16 years in the making, but I finally have a dealership ready to order my first ever new vehicle, and its going to be a black JLU Rubicon. Im so excited! So, were both new to this, as I have only ever had cars.

Good on you. Buying *your* car is always sweet. I order a couple new cars every year, and it’s always a fun event to spec and wait on the new toy.

Well I have an angry partner asking me why Im ordering a new Jeep a month after getting a lightly used 300 AWD. Truth is I had no idea of the JLs existence until a few of my you tube automotive journalists started showing JL content. So yeah, trade in, a loss, and a gain of an awesome machine. Still stupid, but I think its worth it!

My trick is to always keep my spouse involved in the process, and I only buy cars from someone that we both like. I don’t care if it’s a $400K Ferrari or a $15K KTM, the relationship between us and our dealers is critical. Ultimately, letting my spouse feel an integral part of the process means less anger when I casually mention there’s a new Porsche rumored... lol
