I put Rubicon shocks and springs on my Sport S about 6 months ago. I recently noticed one of my rear shocks leaking so I picked up some new Rubicon shocks locally from OfferUp.
Comparing the two rear Rubicon shocks I noticed different part numbers. They appear to be the same length.
Part 68330210AA is what I'm taking off (leaking). The rubber bushings were painted over at the factory. It has thicker welds. The shock says made in Canada.
The new Rubicon rear shock is part number 68509434AA. The red paint is different, it's darker and has more texture.
It seems these are manufacturered in a new way or provided by a new shock vender. Anyone know any more differences?
