I’m waiting to get into one, but previously owned a 2016 Tacoma with a manual. 3.5L in those things is an absolute nightmare.

Opinion on the switch as far as pickup goes?

Kyle, I have the 4-Cylinder and it is plenty for me. I don't hot rod by any means, but it isn't a slouch. Not a race car, but feels very comfortable on the interstate getting off the ramp and passing. No issue.
