New Rubicon - Hood Decals stay on or decals come off?

I played around with mine in an image editor to remove the hood decal and I wasn't a fan of the look, so I left them intact.

Pulled mine the moment I pulled in the driveway from dealer, now all badges are off

A Sahara makes a TON more sense for me but I want a Rubicon anyway and I'm pretty sure it's mostly because of that decal. Holy crap, why would anyone take that off???

Edit >>> I just went and looked a some of those pics. I get the lack of decals and badges in most cases but no way on a Jeep. It looks at least 100 times better WITH the decal on.

I like the RUBICON decals but not the red outline on my Snazzberry Pearl coat. Maybe change it to gold outline if I changed wheel color too. Maybe change to a personalized decal. In any case I like decal vs. none.

I'm taking mine off when I switch over to my retro Renegade stripes . I had a 5th Gen Camaro SS and removed the rally stripes because every single orange Camaro in our metro area had them. It looked more unique not having them.

you've already brought it home; it's time to take it out of its packaging and take the labels off of it.
i would lose those stickers on the sides, also.

who gives a flip if anyone else knows it's a Rubicon? do you really need anyone else to know? (i know, some people have that need.)

i agree that it looks much cleaner without. (i personally especially dislike the versions with colored outlines.)
if you need a sticker there you can always add one. odds are good you can create one that suits you better and looks better as well.

of course, if the wife has a vote, the need for marital bliss may trump all other arguments.

So I'm going to conduct a straw poll. My eccentric, fastidious self says take of the Rubicon hood stickers. My car crazy youngest daughter (Thunderbird 3) agrees. However Middle daughter (Thunderbird 2) and my CEO (wife) think - in completely unambiguous and extremely vocal terms - that I MUST keep them on.

Am I the only new owner of a Rubicon 4xe that has had this weird thought and is living through this? If I'm going to do it, now is a good time. What do you all think? :ROFLMAO::oops::geek:
