Trading my beloved 2dr 75th JK with 2.5" J-spec and 285 KO2's in a couple days. My new ride is a Rubicon 4Xe. I've had the dealer install the 2" Jeep Lift to get the look I want similar to the JK. I'm contemplating trading the 285 KO2's for 315 KO2's to complete the look. Anyone had any issues with the 315's on the stock Rubi rims? How bout the stock Rubi tire carrier?

You won't have any issue with 315 KO2 on a Rubicon. 315 KO2 mounted on stock rim will look slightly "fatter" because of the rim width is narrower.

Stock tire carrier work too? I had to relocate on the JK

I have the 315/70/17s but added 1.25” spacers. I like the look better with the spacers. The 315s drive like factory….you will need to recalibrate your speedometer…

I used my stock carrier but my recon came with tailgate package and I bought the mopar relocation brackets. If you do a lot of off-roading you might want to protect your tailgate…

Fixing stupid....
You will need one of the tailgate relo plates. When i moved my 35’s to my 4xe, while it fit the carrier, it kept giving me issues with “backup sensors not available, please clean sensors”. (I did make sure that the weights were at the top). Once i put on a relo plate that moved it up 2”, and out and inch, my sensors have worked fine.

Congrats!

Those 75th Anniversary Wranglers were very tastefully done. Loved those slim 5-spoke wheels and the bronze accents throughout, including the steel bumpers.
