Hi All, I was configuring a new Recon and noticed Jeep updated the configurator to show the new Recon graphics, as well as the new rock rails/steps. Here's a look.

Yup, it's bit of a statement! Looking forward to seeing it in person.

It will be interesting to see the construction of the new rock rail/steps.

Same here. Not being anti-patrotic at all but I think the flag vent decal is a little busy? I'd probably black out the white RECON badges also?

Looks like the same steps that are on my Sahara. They're not bad but they certainly aren't the rock rails they were originally showing.

I think the red stripe draws too much attention to it! If the flag is a matte black, over black paint, could be cool. Hard to tell from the pics.

I actually like the new graphics around fender vent. Will it be possible to get those separately?
It's a cool place for a graphic. I'm sure the aftermarket decal makers could jump on this!

In my experience, all graphics are available from mopar, they just want an arm and a leg for the OEM stuff.

I was thinking about ordering a Recon. Iā€™m not a fan of the glossy black grille, but at least it doesnā€™t come with the red dash.

It looks like the rails arenā€™t correct based on the description.

The vent decals are busy to me. Iā€™d take them and the recon badge off.

I'm in the same boat! I'll likely place an order for one in a couple of months. I have no problem removing decals, done that many times with my current JKU. I think you're right about the rails not being right. I think having leather on the dash versus the red looks great as well.

I'm wanting the Recon for the 2.0L eTorque. I was recently at Winter Jam and spent a day with two Jeeps that were running that motor/drivetrain...superb!

You can check out a review I did on the 2.0L Turbo eTorque at Expedition Builds YouTube.

My ā€œWranglerā€ sticker was off before the engines cooled when I brought mine home :).

Iā€™ve been reading about the engines and eTorque and am still having a hard time deciding. I like my V6, but the efficiency of the 2.0 is appealing.

I havenā€™t driven an eTorque Rubi recently, so itā€™s hard to compare.

I do worry about the extra battery (added weight and complexity) with the cooling hoses. My Jeep is my daily, but weā€™ll be doing some rocky trails. Weā€™ve done parts of the Rubicon, but want to do the whole trail.

My husband teases me that Iā€™ve read to the end of the internet and still havenā€™t made a decision .

PS: nice video! Dammmmit, not helping my indecision!

Those "sliders" have to be wrong, right? I thought it had the performance rock rails unless these are new?
