I have been concerned this (electrical issues) might happen, and sure enough, after about 1450 total miles, when I went out to start my Jeep this morning, it started normally, I went to put it in reverse and it felt like the E-brake was on or something was causing high roll resistance, I looked down to make sure it wasn't the E-brake and saw a warning on the dash that the "AUTO PARK" was active and the transmission wasn't in park. I put it in park then back to reverse, the warning stayed. I shut it off and waited a few seconds, then restarted without any warning. Funny thing is, my unit does not have park assist.
I also noticed that the charging system voltage sat at 14.2 most of the way to work (about 45 mins) and as I drove up to work, the air coming from the dash vents suddenly went HOT. The voltage usually goes to 14.1 when decelerating and low 13's at cruise.
