Maybe I am overthinking but is it possible that the Mopar factory installed CAI be the cause of engine running hotter than normal on street driving?
Could the ratio of more air to fuel causing the engine to run lean leading to higher temps?
But if the air/fuel mixture is lean, would some sensors detect it and send a code/CEL? Would running higher octane will compensate in some way by increasing the compression ratio?

No, and that isn’t how any of that works. You aren’t getting more air to fuel from a CAI. You just get more noise.
