Just picked up my Jeep after having this done, and there appears to be a supersession in the steering gear for the 3.6.

edit: It looks like the AB number is current as of mid 2021, but the bulletin still quotes the AA version.

I should also mention that the dealer did grump a little at my lift and tires. Ultimately it wasn't an issue and the TSB was performed. When dropping off my Wrangler at the service department, I also dropped off a printout of the recently (within 20 miles) completed alignment showing all measurements being within specification.

Do you have a copy of your service invoice showing the part numbers?

That is the part they installed in my JLUR 2021 in late June 2021. I've attached the part numbers from my invoice.

Interesting. I wonder what this change could be.

At the time this change first happened someone with a contact inside Jeep engineering asked about the change. He was told that it was a small change to simplify a manufacturing step. Something like changing the lead-in on a hole that would be tapped. Nothing that would change the way the box performed. You can probably find that information if you dig back far enough in this thread.

I was told there will be another TSB issued. I will be waiting for the new one.
That's news to me/us! Any details on what the change might be? Was this from the dealership?

So TSB 08-003-21 Rev A is the most recent? I can find TSB 08-003-21 pretty easily on line, but not Rev A.

--EDIT--

Just found this at THIS link.

It's not the greatest quality copy, but here you go.

Isn't the torque on the Pitman nut absolutely massive? Over 400 ft lbs? I'd be concerned reusing it. Who knows what kind of cheater tube someone used to torque it back on? Who has a torque wrench that strong? Even the dealers?
