This is how bad it got at low speed. It was really bad.
Yeah, that's bad. That looks like the 2019 I test drove, mine is nowhere near that. I'll have to pay more attention when I drive and get it on the highway. I'm usually driving near the beach, slow, in stop and go traffic.

Keep in mind that I still have the slight bumpsteer and road crown issues inherent with a solid front axle vehicle. Not much you can do about that. It will never steer like an IFS vehicle, however it's MUCH improved and the center dead spot is all but completely eliminated now.

Lol holy crap man...both of the videos are before you got the new part?
Yep! Crazy huh? It's tight as a drum now. Barely perceptible, if any, center dead spot, and the steering is just much firmer all around.

Myself (and MANY others) were ready to just rip out the entire steering and replace it with PSC or throw $1k's of dollars at it. All along it was just the steering box.

What’s the furthest you would push Caster with Mopar LCA? I have the AA redesigned box but this thing is still all over the place.

You can't push caster with Mopar LCA's, they're fixed length.

I'm running 7 degrees of caster with adjustable.

I thought people were pushing +6/7 degrees with the Mopar LCA?
That really depends upon lift height but the arms are fixed so as lift height is increased, caster is reduced. Maybe a sport gets 7 deg with the mopar lowers…I don’t know.

I’m not running a lift. I have a 2020 Sahara High Altitude with 20” wheels all being stock.

UPDATE:
Picked up my 2021 Rubi from getting the updated steering part. There is about 1” of steering play still in the wheel but it’s better than what it was.
Here’s a pic of the new part and my alignment before/after results:

There is no mechanical difference between the Steel AA and AB except for a small manufacturing change that doesn’t affect performance. Earlier 2021’s came with the AA but it seems that later 2021’s come with the AB.

Once again, the two steel boxes are the same in terms of performance and functionality.
