I am seriously contemplating on doing this repair myself.
My dealer have my parts, but they dont have the tool to remove pitman arm.
And from looks of it, most dealer just hammer the pitman arm until it comes off
If my dealer does that I’m gonna be pissed AF.

Dealer called today and parts have finally arrived. Had it in Aug 17th.
Service scheduled for Tuesday so hopefully it’ll finally be right!

Well, I just booked my evaluation appointment for next week. Wish me luck!
It sure would be great to finally have a Jeep that's safe to drive on the highway.

There’s really no excuse for the dealerships to not have the tool, but a brass hammer isn’t going to damage the pitman arm.

My dealer was having a hard time getting parts, at least that’s what they said. I got Jeep Cares involved. Oddly enough, the day after being assigned a case number by Jeep Cares, my dealer called to tell me the parts were in. Not sure if that was their doing or not, but it sure was awfully coincidental.
