Thanks. I'm trying to determine if my diesel qualifies for the tsb. It's a 20 jlur diesel with the aluminum box. Seeing mixed news about it. Thanks.Thats all the staff at Jeep Cares gave to me. Sorry!

I went through a dealership in Everett. I started dealing with the manager. Apparently the local managers were all presented the TSB, required to read, and acknowledge that they read it. Once I started dealing wth the manager all was very smooth. My best guess is that FCA communicated poorly wth the dealerships.I brought my (new to me) 2018 2 door Rubicon in to Jeep of Seattle this morning for evaluation because I've found in the 1000 miles I've put on it that it's suffering from this issue. The advisor just called and said he substantiated my concerns by driving it, mentioned there's a TSB to swap the aluminum steering gear with a cast iron one and that they were ordering parts that are ~ 2 weeks out.
I'm not sure if this is the same Seattle area dealer @Stumeat went through but if it is they clearly got the message as I had a much easier time with the service advisor than they did. If that's the case I am benefitting from your persistence and I appreciate it!
I would like to know this too.Just to confirm... with the flash update as part of the TSB... did everyone loose their radio presets..? Or is there another way to check to see software version?
