New JL owners: How long from date of order to delivery

Picked it up today from Mark. In mid NY on the way back to IL. Even met @DrDee while picking up.

I ordered mine July 21. As of last Friday the dealer said it was outside of Kansas City in a train yard. The scheduled delivery date to So Cal is Sep 18. Seems like a long time to get from Missouri to Cal if it’s already on a train.

I ordered a week earlier and mine is still in Toledo so it could be worse...

Wow, I can’t believe you got any kind of delivery ETA or location on your vehicle out of the dealer. Mine won’t say anything except a generic 3-4 weeks. It does seem like it takes around 3 weeks to get to so cal or AZ once shipped.

Ordered mine on the eight of August (order to replace the one wrecked in the train derailment) - still waiting. But it's on a train headed to New Mexico now - interestingly a different route than the one the previous one took... Final destination - So Cal.

How were you able to find out where your vehicle is during its transit to dealer? Is the dealer providing this information to you?

The dealer has been awesome. He texts me anytime there is an update.

Dealer provides me with this. Jeep Customer Service has told me to check with dealer as they know more than Customer Service says they do!

My dealer informed me that mine should be off the train some time next week. He also said it could take “some time” before delivered to dealership, but should be this month. I’m hoping within the next 2 weeks. Ordered on 8/21, though, so no complaints on build time.

I put a depost on my 20 Rubicon on 8/18, order put in 8/20 got Vin on 8/21, D status 8/22, Built and shipped on 8/24, sitting in Depot in MA since last week, waiting on delivery to maine.

I would never buy a vehichle off lot, have ordered 5 new Mopars, have always had them within 6 weeks or so. The Sahara we ordered last year was about 7 weeks, my SRT about 5 weeks, my 15 Overland about 6 weeks and my 00 Durango took about 4 weeks, was actually built on our anniversary
