New JL coil springs

I installed my springs, they went on nice and easy, I also installed the correction pads, the springs are nice and straight, no bowing, glad to have that spacer lift off and now have a real 2.5 inches of lift front. When I was doing the install I noticed that the finish is rubbed off on my rear shocks, the 5000’s, like they’ve been rubbing on the frame. What do you think is causing that?
