Ah true...I was thinking drilling through the leftover torx bit may not be too bad, since it was soft enough to break off in the screw. Cutting a slit and using a flathead screwdriver could work well too.The options were to weld a nut to it and extract or cut a slit across it and try to use a flat head screwdriver. I hope he was able to remove it. Drilling out the head is only possible with high end metal drill bits.
Oh, I forgot to add in my post, I actually did some maintenance today on my JL! Rotated the tires and put in a new cabin filter and new air filter. The cabin filter was black, glad I changed it out. I ran out of daylight to do my oil change, so I'll do it tomorrow.
