I’m biased. I wanted Sarge or Sting Grey. Then I saw this Willys in white and I really like the black contrast against the white.

That's exactly my Willy look coming. Can't wait until next week.

Are these Firestone Destination tires on the Willys supposed to be pretty good?

Can’t go wrong with black either. I have a black F150 too. I used to avoid both black and white as I found then to be plain. But I’ve come to realize that black or white do not looked dated. I0 years from now it won’t be dated by it’s color that was only popular for a year or too. Silver is timeless too, but the sun has no mercy on it down here in South Texas.

They are surprisingly good. Noisy on the highway though. I thought I’d get some BFGs right away, but I’ll stick with them for awhile. All new Willys that I’ve seen are equipped with them.

You said it white is timeless doesn't fade in sunlight over the years.

FCA Jeep said they had to employ Firestone for their tires for now cause the other tire manufacturers can't keep up and supply tires for the new Jeeps. I can see this topic switching to tires pretty soon...

Since Bridgestone bought Firestone, they have been great tires. I think Bridgestone should manage Firestone the way Michelin manages BF Goodrich, as more of a specialty and performance brand.

I do like General tires brand. Always had good success with them on my vehicles. Firestone I don't know yet until I experience it. I was never a fan of Firestone.

I hated them before Bridgestone took over. Now Goodyears are the tires I avoid.

Duratrac's are a good choice too.

Yep, any other color and you definitely wouldn't see the dirt :)

My 2 cents worth ...
Wrapping is becoming more and more popular.
You can wrap a white Jeep black (or any other color for that matter), but you can't wrap a black Jeep white unless you use a very thick vinyl which difficult to get back off.

I too have had good experiences with General tires.

I got a set of General Grabber AT-X tires on my 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road: I was very impressed with them. They were quieter and more comfortable on-road than my KO2s, just as capable on the trail and in snow, and were priced 15% lower. The only drawback is that the AT-X doesn’t come in as many sizes as the KO2.

I planned to get the same Generals for my JLU...but Discount Tire had the KO2s in stock...so I went with those instead.

Can’t go wrong with either tire..
