Do you have a hard top? Looks the the brackets that slide into the grooves so you can secure the hard top to the body.

It is a hard top. I have not had it off yet. Where would this part be?

If you are looking from the back with the gate open...either left or right where the rear quarter meets the top. Each bolt on the JK had a sleeve similar to this. I don't have a hard top on my JL...and this looks a little different than the JK's do. I was making an educated guess

It looks like the cap that goes on the end of the seat slider rail. There should be one on each outside seat rail.

Agreed.. I mentioned this earlier in the thread:
@jdhunt0

A few months ago, I believe this same piece was noted on the floor of another forum member's JL and the member posted about it.... If I remember correctly it has something to do with the rear seats. His had inadvertently fallen off or...

Look under .. in the rear seat area for a similar piece... for somewhere a piece is missing so to speak.

Have to love Jeep Quality control. If you zoom in I have two keyless entry handles on passenger side.One on drivers side. Only the front one works. Every JL I check has 3 buttons handles. I have a spare in case one dies.

Ha ha. That’s an odd mistake.
