I took delivery of my Jeep today. When I got it home the first thing I did was put new floor mats in. Under the passenger front seat I found a small part. Not sure where it came from. Does this look familiar to anyone?

No idea but today I found a bolt in the rear cup holders that looks like it would go to that! Have no idea where it came from.

A few months ago, I believe this same piece was noted on the floor of another forum member's JL and the member posted about it.... If I remember correctly it has something to do with the rear seats. His had inadvertently fallen off or...

Look under .. in the rear seat area for a similar piece... for somewhere a piece is missing so to speak.

Thanks. I have looked all over under the front and on the sound bar. Never thought to look at the rear seat.

Its a McFarber bracket. It attaches to the pre-clampifier harness. That, in turn, keeps the Flurboid valves operational in the event that your Jeep tilts more than 16% on plane at speeds over 23 mph.

That's the 'Blinker Fluid Reservoir Bracket'. Check under your hood; if the blinker fluid reservoir is detached/missing, your blinkers could overheat and cause a serious fire!
