So I’ve had my first Jeep now for 4 days. Every single day I’ve removed the freedom panels and hardtop. Still getting used to doing that since I seem to make a mistake every time but I absolutely love everything about the Jeep. But I have a question...

Why are my shorts always black on the leg?”!?! What am I touching that I am not realizing when I’m setting up my Jeep. I can’t figure it out and, honestly, I don’t have that many pairs of shorts!

Help!!! 😂

Possibly your tires or if you just purchased it recently the dealership detailers could have put some shiny substance on the fenders, trim areas & tires.

Rubber seals from the freedom panels when you handle them.

It's usually the tires for me, and it always seems to be on the back of my khaki shorts. Pretty sure it's when I'm refueling. :headbang:

Most likely the tires. I always get my right pocket area dirty. It’s even worse now with 35x12.5 tires with an aggressive offset rim.
