Hello JL forum, I have been lurking for awhile and finally picked up a new JLU Willys.
I wanted to document and share my build as I have enjoyed all the builds in this forum.

I have been gathering parts, paint work and have been running back and forth to the tire shop.
I have made a bit of progress as I have half the lift installed and it looks like a clown car.

As it was from the dealership.

I have always admired this jeep and it is a major inspiration with what i'm doing.
Thanks for checking it out, i have a bunch more fun stuff to add and will update with more detail as I go.

Yes they are mopar 77072466AB, best deal I could find was through Bam wholesale.

The rings came in silver and I had the body shop paint them in red as well as some trim for the mopar grille surround.

I plan to get the heavy duty rings used for beadlocks and have them powder coated down the road when I upgrade the axles.

I was able to source rebuild kits from Crown Auto for my OEM TPMS. I have had TPMS issues on another vehicle and want to avoid aftermarket. A lot of back and forth to discount tire.

I wrapped them in BFGoodrich KM3 35x12.50R17.

I love the KO2's and always wanted to try these KM3's.

Best price I could find was through 4wheelparts, Discount matched it.
They were hard to get as they were on national back order for this size.

4 trips back and forth to Discount. I didn't want them touching these wheels any more than they had to.

(put the jeep on jack stands so it was bench work)
first trip was getting TPMS sensors out.
second trip install tires and sensors no air
( came home to torque the rings properly and set psi)
3rd trip was balance.

I replaced the lug nuts with black gorilla nuts ;)
All locking.

I am still in the process of installing the mopar/fox 2" lift, Rock Krawler front and rear track bars and Fox 2.0 steering stabilizer.

I am stuck trying to figure out the proper grease for the track bars. I have Mobil EP-1 NLGI 1 on it's way after also ordering Rock Krawlers 000 which seems to be on back order.

While doing the lift I have had critters coming by to help.

first was a sand snake, mildly venomous so I put him in a box and promised to find him a nice wash out in the middle of the desert when im done with the lift.

Next visitor was a gopher snake, im happy to have him and he still is in the garage.

While getting the rings painted I thought it was a good time to get the flat black mopar grille sorted out.
