I see this has been covered by other owners previously. My '23 JL just turned over 3,000 miles, but it's fast turning into the most regrettable vehicle purchase in my life. My '20 is solid, no complaints at all but the '23 has been nothing but issues
Seems as there is no middle ground. You either have one with all kinds of issues or get lucky and have no issues so far my is great but ??

I fucking love my '23, 7k happy miles.
I fooking love my '20, 30k happy miles on that one. Unfortunately it's been 3k frustrating miles on the '23. Already been in for paint correction, it auto-revs past 2k after a cold start, and apparently has quite the leak from an unknown location. I would expect build quality to get better over model years, not regress

It's water for sure...wiper fluid is purple ?
There is a waterline with a T fitting behind that plastic panel that when unplugged, will empty your windshield washer tank into the floorboard. Not all washer fluid is purple. If you’d like to laugh at someone trying to help you, I’m not going to be the one to provide input.

Only time I’ve had this happen is using the drive thru touch less car wash. I’d check that cowl area, door seal and freedom panel. Mine turned out that the freedom panel wasn’t seated just perfectly.

interesting.... i had a wet floor board on the driver side after washing mine, but i had just run compressor wires thru the hole in the fire wall, so i am thinking thats what caused mine. However after reading this thread i will take chevymitchells suggestion and look for the washer fluid line. as well as check the door seals. Other then that love my '23

I'm cool with that, honestly thought it was a joke and laughing along, not at. Your unwillingness to provide input is appreciated ?

Appreciate it man.

I get Pain Train back from paint tomorrow.

It has all of the possible seals exposed. I can make a short video and walk through all of the possible points water would be coming in. You may have to fold your windshield and remove some panels to inspect them. It's almost always the freedom panels though or the freedom panel drain. There's a tube that runs down the inside of the windshield and if the rubber boot isn't on correctly, will drain water into the floorboard.

Brilliant minds think alike Shawn. I was saying to myself that Youtube lacks a video that points out all the common places that a JL can let water in. :)

Yeah. It's held in with a couple christmas trees. It's a short tube. The tube is supposed to terminate directly under the windshield frame and behind the side cowl pieces.
i just got my 23, would this tube potentially leak even if i havent used the washers yet ? i have the same issue as the OP, but, i am thinking mine is probably because i didnt reseal the wires i ran thru my fire wall.

It’s certainly possible. Age of the Jeep doesn’t matter. Easiest thing to check is the reservoir. Is it empty? The firewall hole shouldn’t be causing that much water to come in. There’s likely something else happening.
