Yes the European models have had that gap filled for aerodynamic reasons for a while now. The JK versions look pretty funky...

But the JL looks a little better but not quite up to snuff... They'd have to fully integrate the bumper into the fender for it to look right IMO.

Yeah it looks different from US Sport model bumper with end caps, I like it.

I can't say for certain, but I think they're permanently a part of the bumper there.

Just a thought..... might cost you something, but since you like bumpers like that, the steel Rubi bumper has removable end caps, they could be modified, or new end caps made in whatever design you and your fabricator came up with.

Interesting idea, wouldn't know the first thing how to go about do that. Will look into it, thanks for the tip.

ah, good. I'll be seeing how well the limited slip diff does on mine.
I have Selectrac and had it engaged driving through extremely heavy rain on the highway and hail shortly before that. It's hard to be certain when it engages but I am certain it did when I hit a spot with huge puddles. I felt like I had great control of the vehicle and it made my wife feel better when I explained that I had extra safety features to deal with this kind of driving scenario.

The rest of the bumper looks odd, as nenmentio in the Euro JL thread it sticks out like a park bench
That's the reason why I also asked about ARB , it looked great on JK

I have not heard anything bad about the 6-Speed Manual Transmission but I'm not sure it's made by Toyota.
